Cleanse: Finished
May 8th, 2009So I made my goal. It was just short of four days. At noon last Friday I switched to orange juice, and by dinner time I was eating a salad and some veggie soup. Felt great. After all was said and done I lost 8 lbs (which I haven’t gained back) and have been eating a lot healthier (with only a few exceptions). I’m feeling really good too.
Looking back, it really sucked. Eating is awesome. It feels great. Not eating sucks. I feel great now, but I still don’t think I’ll be doing this again any time soon. Especially when there are other cleanses you can do that will yield similar effects that aren’t so hardcore.
I’ll try to skip the bad-for-you foods, like the Lark Burger pictured above, and I think as long as I do that 90% of the time, I’m on the right path.
