Am I the Master?

Master Cleanse
THE BOTTLE OF CLEANSE ::

Have you heard of cleanses? The general idea is that there’s a ton of terrible toxins in your body that you should get rid of every now and then. There’s tons of debate as to whether or not cleanses are necessary or even healthy for you, but I’ve done a super mild one before and I felt great after.

The cleanse I’m about to do is supposed to be the most intense one. It’s called The Master Cleanse, and it’s an all liquid diet. I drink about 12 oz of the liquid concoction pictured above every hour. It’s a mixture of fresh squeezed lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and water. Then I drink sea salt and water every night to totally flush out my system.

So why am I doing this? It’s less to get the toxins out of my body and more to hit reset. I’ve been eating like shit lately, and this will not only shave a few pounds off of me and shrink my stomach, but also just make me think more about what I’m eating.

That’s the plan at least. We’ll see how I’m feeling in four days.
