These United States ::
First Sight by These United States has been echoing through my skull a lot over the past few days. It’s partly due to the fact that they’re playing at The Sundown Saloon in Boulder Thursday night, but also just because it’s a fantastic song. I could be way off, but it seems like a really positive reflection on the span of a relationship. It’s way too easy to look back at a failed relationship and feel angry and/or bitter, but dude looks back with fondness; the whole time he’s insisting that it was inevitable that it would come to an end.
Or maybe that’s just what I want it to mean.
